we sat the singapore flyer!
cos conhwa's sister's friend had free tickets (:
it moved really really slowlyyyy.
mass canwhoring for the whole 45 mins that we were up there.
okay the scenery wasn't as nice as i hoped it would be but its the company that matters (:
fortunately we didnt get lost while walking to the flyer.
but then again, that thing is huge, how could we ever miss it?!
dinner at hongkong cafe, awesome.
and a short trip to suntec.
met sharron and her friends at marina square hahahah.
oh calvin was with his tp friends chionging project hahah.
bought a topman jersey with kelly cos it was 2 for $29!
its always fun to meet up with them and talk and laugh like we usually do in the past (:
kelly makes tp sound so cool!
i wanna drop by one day hahaha.
and somehow we all had sth green on us that day!

watched get smart with the church people.
got a little addicted to the song, 4 minutes.
roarrr, it was an awesome show though (:

no mood to go school, sighhh.

finally a little time to relax before hectic school life kicks in again.
CTs were bad.
esp maths, it was like stare at the question, the question stare back at you.
and no, the answer doesn't stare back at you.
hmmmm i think i stumbled a bit during oral, conversation topic wasn't as difficult as i expected it to be.
i guess i'll be able to sleep quite peacefully until the results come out.

service learning at some old folks home.
had to wake up super early and well, we nearly got lost on the way there.
i was in the food team and we helped to make breakfast for the elderly.
there was this language barrier cos i didnt know how to speak in any dialect.
roarrr luckily there was this woman who could converse in english with me (:
she even showed me around the place!
didnt get to stay long at the home.
after they cleaned up, we sang a song, gave them a lamp (very pretty!) and left.
actually i wouldnt mind spending more time interacting with the old folks.
they look lonely, seems like there's nothing much for them to do anyway.

met my mum for doctor's appt at NUH.
its been ages since i went there.
dr quah still looks the same.
had to do some blood test but luckily they only prick the finger!
aiyah all those memories of staying in hospital, going for injections etc.
not very pleasant but the place looks really nice and new now.
i rmb i dreaded going to the hospital, cos it was painful.
the mere smell of stepping into the hosptial was alrdy horrible.
i was wondering if the nurses who looked after me before were still around hahah.
i'm glad i'm healthy and all now.
went down to bugis and walked around a bit before going for dinner (:
hahah i must bring my mum to eat seoul garden someday!

been studying in church for the past 2 days
first with charis (she taught me maths!) then ariel.
its rather conducive, can eat and its comfy enough for a power nap!
anyway, i'm honestly not prepared for cts.
ppffffttt.

& its the last week of holidays.
honestly, studying has not been very productive.
sighh i'm in a i-can't-be-bothered mood which is very very very baddd ):

went down to vj for the record challenge.
to be part of a subway sandwich.
hahahah going there was alrdy a challenge, woah i was so scared i took the wrong bus or sth!
good thing i met conhwa and liukun on the bus! so it was alright!
we had to practise getting eaten up by pacman.
its a cute idea actually (:
they painted the shirts themselves!
but it got kinda sian after a while.
well i might appear on tv hahah.
err met up with many cedarians.
huhhhh why everyone laugh at my hair?!
i couldnt resist the temptation and headed down to parkway to shop!
yeah i bought sth (: after being deprived of shopping for like a million yearssss.
somehow its just one of those days when you feel like you've just got to spend money.
anyway the sales helped (: but topman is still a bit out of reach for meeeee.
tunny went with me! and only she is uhh shameless enough to demand for a surprise on her birthday!
wahlao so i shall be nice and plan a surprise for her.
but she alrdy knows/expects a surprise on her birthday,
so technically, its not a surprise alrdy! HAHAHAH. I'M AMUSED.
maybe tunny needs help defining what surprise is! HAHAHAH.

INTERNET I LOVE YOU!
hahah spent the past week in malaysia for church camp.
well, almost half the time, i was sick, againnnn.
the drive up was looooonnngggg.
the hotel room was nice and everything.
just that food wasnt that great.
theme talks were good, by the Blackabys.
hahaha dorothy and i kept talking abt how good looking Mike Blackaby was!
guess my group was kinda funny (:
unfortunately, i couldnt really bunk in with dorothy and dora cos i was sick bleahhh.
compared to other church camps, i didnt really play and go wild this time.
but Olympics 3000 was really cool, with all the mascots and stuff (:
okayyy i'm suddenly reminded of how little time i'm left with to study for common tests.
this is depressing ):

GO DEBORAH!
NON STOP CAMPING!
actually it wasnt exactly non stop, i had one day break (:
hahaha fortunately ltc wasn't as hiong as oec (:
I SURVIVED IT.
despite the initial bad impressions of some people, i really did learn loads from this camp that will benefit me in odac.
sounds so tys answer but whatever.
okay, i admit i went for camp feeling quite sian.
BUT LUIZA WAS IN MY GROUP SO YAY (:
started off with the proposal thing.
a bit lost at first.
ohwells then had campfire prep.
err nothing to say.
as 'predicted' we were gonna trek from school to changi coast campsite with bags and all.
set off after dinner.
i think our route was good man (:
had this smsing contest to see which group went first.
hahaha then we walked and walked and walked and walked.
my soles were burning, shoulders aching.
luiza led the way so we didnt get lost (:
and though we were kinda quiet, i had a nice time talking to luiza!
oh how much we miss group 4!
trekking at night is super cooling hahaha.
i've never walked so much in my entire life!
stopped for supper.
and competed to reach the campsite the fastest!
we were second!
turns out that the campsite was the place where the sec3s had their ltc last year!
hahaha.

i felt really weird the next day cos there was no pt.
we had water activity which was to build a raft.
woahh our raft seemed so steady lah and we finished pretty quickly.
then when it went into sea, it sort of...fell apart ):
ppffffttt. its the currents man.
did some conveyor belt thingy. throw people in the sea.
ahh yeahhh then went for high elements.
didnt get to belay much cos it rained and had to change to wet weather games.
i was praying it wouldnt rain but nvm.
wwg wasnt as bad as i expected.
mass games was 4 way captain ball.
and finally, campfire!
all the cold jokes. wahlaoo.
sang our song to the seniors and gave them the sash and took photos!
YAY (:
the guys can be quite sexy if they want to! hahaha.

nothing much on the third day except teambuilding.
debrief, clean up and we sort of broke camp weirdly.
evacuated the campsite and walked to some bus stop.
thinking the bus stop would be near but we were so wrong!
it was like trekking part2! the road seemed endless.
and we were damn tired from camp alrdy.
anywayyy after a million years of walking, we were on the bus to parkway parade for lunch (:
and i slept from 5pm to 8am the next day!
GREAT! WONDERFUL! I love my bed!

yuppps, that was my ltc.
one thing annoying was that there were too many aeroplanes flying past the campsite.
hahaha but my advisor time was super funny lah
cos gordon always talk crap!

HOUSE COUNCIL CAMP.
i'm really glad we bonded a lot during this camp (:
got our highlighter shirts!
firstly, the campsite was super ulu.
had icebreakers and we built our outdoor dining area hahah.
split into johnny bravo and 2 fast 2 furious.
learned much abt planning.
then had high elements, got to belay! wheeeee.
there was solo walk.
stepped into so many puddles man!
then pam chua and krystal got lost. but i guess their experience was memorable huh.
our sleeping huts were quite cool.
i shared a bed with debbie (:

second day was packed with activities.
sea expedition. we built a raft!
i didnt know how to kayak so i was paddling on the raft with food and all.
guess it was kinda difficult to paddle plus we needed coordination.
freaking tired after paddling so much.
debbie went crazy.
plus she saw so many commandos okay! must be very happy right!
got muscles and a fantastic tan HAHAHAH.
we paddled past this area that smelled of hippos, so smelly okayyyy!
some did field cooking and some carried the kayaks back.
wati cooks nice chicken (:
then land expedition. thought it would be cancelled but it went on.
really train arm muscles man.
AND THE BEST PART, WE ROLLED AROUND IN MUD.
but the slide down into the milo pool was shiok HAHAHA.
smelly but worth it (:
campfire was great : D
come to think of it, its been ages since i went for campfire.
had our final debrief.
i realise camps always pass very quickly ):
oh and somewhere during day2, we were given BJ the watermelon who's super handicapped.

didnt do much on the third day except clean up.
we broke our record for the wall!
its amazing how we conquered it in less than 3 mins (:

finally i went home and slept to my hearts content (:
