CAMP IS OVER. post effect of camp are my aching legs. finally no more worrying abt proposals! and the final closure to my 4 years in redcross is POP.
THE DAY BEFORE CAMP WAS AN AUNTY NIGHTMARE. our favourite hangout is the toa payoh ntuc. where we went around trying to get the cheapest stuff. we filled 2 trolleys and dunno how many baskets. it was basically all the food stuff like 4 huge watermelons! 30 eggs! 5 bunches of bananas! and 3 tins of biscuits! haha and i found the cheapest biscuit tin! yes, i sound like some certified aunty but whatever. luckily priya came in a car to carry home some of the heavier stuff (: then i carried 30 eggs from tp to cathay to ps and finally home. hahah none broke ok (: yeah and early the next morning, i lugged everything to school. met yuyuan on the way to school. was so scared that i forgot to bring sth lah.
THEN CAMP BEGAN.
set up logs base and did ice breakers prep.
gave out BUDDY OSTEOPOROSIS AND BUDDY BLING BLING.

ohh ice breakers was fun hahahah. kelly acted very well! YAY!
did mc prep and i think everything went well. err some houses didnt have walls but thats ok (:
err conhwa nearly died setting up her station but i helped! woohoo.
oh yuting and i werent there for ct at all which was a bit funny but nvm.
oh group5 (i think) did this cheer using the girlfriend tune hahahah so funnnyyy.
next was field cooking
i think the food's really nice!
its expensive FISH ok.
the fish i cooked turned out to be very nice lor!
hahahaha then rushed for guesswho.
woahh light the candles until my thumb so pain.
then did games prep.
wasted lots of masking tape ):
that station was closed cos it started to drizzle.
yeah we were all chanting rain rain go away come again another day
and the rain really went away! (:
haha it was so funny seeing them protect the paper bibs!
scream and scream and screaaammm.
and had fun with the waterguns too (:
the act cool station was the best lah!
sueann was the funniest. cannot get past yuting and me hahaha.
anyway tent pitching went on (:
exmaams and a few of us helped them to pitch tents.
and dunno why some stuff went missing ):
then was dinner and their shower.
after that was war games! they actually understand the complicated blahblahblah for wg (:
could hear bursts of balloons which was good hahaha.
ohh then got firedrill and i was the casualty in the middle of the courtyard!
honghui is super funny.
it was so ticklish when she poured water over my arms.
then had nightwalk which was not scary hahaha.
i tricked so many people!
first was rosalind then grace then sueann then yingsi!
wooohoooo.
liukun and i 'tucked' them in bed. hahaha well it was drizzling so they didnt sleep in tents ):
then we went to bathe and sleep and no one woke me up for sentry ooops ):
i think they're so lucky. no firedrill in the middle of the night.
well, the next day's pt was as good as i expected it to be.
there was mushroom soup for breakfast! (:
then i followed group6 for nht and streetsale.
we walked a lot. seriously.
ok then the messiest thing happened.
it rained during tent unpitching.
yuting sounded so pro when she scolded the juniors.
but everything was organised in the end and we even set up a shop to give out pegs and twines.
for some reason, conhwa and i started to talk really slowly to each other. abt tent 10 and tent 12 hahah.
we took 6 sec2s during bigsweep.
hahah i bet they had a lot of fun ok.
laugh so much.
and buting was being a bossy supervisor hmph.
we combed the field (but must shampoo the field first! hahah joke!) and i found one peg!
announced best group and best camper.
and finally broke camp!

i'll never get what i want.
its a losing battle, anyway.
