ROAR, I'M BACKKKKK ! MINGALABA! thats hello in burmese. it was a fruitful trip to myanmar. learnt a lot. and had lots of fun (: papa, mummy, jeremy, angel, faith, shirley, davidchew, davidlee, tiong, eugene, kenneth and me. met at airport, flew in a plane and met papa, pastor and auntyjudy at myanmar. its totally different from singapore. the airport was smaller. and we took a bus from the plane to the airport. went for a cultural show. and we had to be careful with the water=\ roomed with angel (: went for a youth fellowship service the next day. haha worship was great. then had testimony sharing and got to talk to some local people. a bit of communication barrier. they're really on fire for God (: had dinner at a nice restaurant that unclerichard brought us to. took funny pics. oh and we have our own taxigang. next day, kenneth and eugene were sick =\ rest of us went for the upper room church service. did english lesson and childrens program. then went for a chinese church service which was new to me. everything was in chinese argh. not exactly my favourite. tiong was telling his army story. hahah. then it was jeremy and my turn to fall sick. but thank God i recovered overnight. went painting on mon. first had to scrape off fungus. then started painting. YAY us, we finished early ok. dinner at eugenia. we went to ACTS orphanage on tues. most memorable. the young ones are really cute. and there are kids around my age too. did a xmas party for them. had puppetshow, storytelling and i shared my testimony and games and balloon sculpturing. just seeing them so happy makes it all worth it. got to talk with them and took pics too. haha they love us (: i want to go back there again! went to the blind school on wed. didnt do much. sat in for talks. played at night. then did a bit of last minute shopping on thurs. bojo market is huge. yupps. it went by so fast. hmmm got to know some people better. had a headache debating with davidc. on the plane =.=
it didnt rain at all man. HOT. HOT. HOT. and the currency there is like in thousands. felt so rich there hahaha. the hotel showed nice movies on tv and i managed to play tabletennis. and in myanmar, people just jump up on trucks on the road just like that. so they're standing and holding on to the back of the truck. dangerous. and i taught angel how to play bridge. haha.
